Our mission is to make Torah knowledge accessible, enjoyable, and deeply rewarding for every learner, everywhere.

Every quiz question on My Torah Quest is generated through a thoughtful combination of authentic Torah sources and modern AI. We begin by fetching the original Hebrew text and its English translation directly from the Sefaria API, the leading open-source digital library of Jewish texts. This ensures that every question is grounded in accurate, primary source material.

That source text is then passed to a large language model (LLM), which crafts multiple-choice questions, plausible answer options, and clear explanations all anchored in the passage itself. The LLM is guided by carefully tuned prompts and quality rules so the questions are fair, textually precise, and genuinely educational. Each question also includes a minimal excerpt of the source text in both Hebrew and English, so you can see exactly where the answer comes from.

This human-guided AI approach lets us continually expand our Mishna coverage while keeping every question closely tied to the original words of the text.
